In the Awareness Insight meditation course you will understand what meditation is and how to develop your own self sufficient practice, so that you can sit anywhere, at any time, zero apps, the old fashioned way.

 

Learn the tools to navigate a daily practice through all stages and seasons of our human experience and come away with a better understanding of the pitfalls you may face along the way, such as self-sabotage or working through personal blocks. See how meditation can shift your perspective, build resilience, cultivate awareness and become a guiding foundation in your life. 

 

This course is just the beginning of a lifetime of practice and self evolution. With myself as your teacher to support you along the way and a like minded community on a similar path as you.

Upon completion of the foundational course you are are then given access to resit a scheduled course, free of charge as many times as you like.

What you will learn from this course

Part 1.

What is meditation? & developing the layers of awareness.

It's time to break down some common myths and misperceptions around what meditation is and isn't.

 

Together we will learn the foundational pillars of awareness insight meditation and start the process of un-learning some of our conditioned beliefs, and hardwired thought patterns.  Through developing greater self awareness we create the space to observe our inner world with more clarity, compassion and curiosity.

This isn't about becoming someone new, it's reconnecting with and getting to know what's always been there beneath the surface.

Part 2.

The human experience, some insight.

How can we, as ordinary individuals, maintain a solid meditation practice in the real world, especially when we can't retreat to a cave like a devoted yogi?

 

To find the answer, we need to unpack the challenges we face, like the tricky ego, the excuses we make, self-sabotage, and the fear that often holds us back. We will take a look at modern psychology to shed light on these obstacles, so we can better understand how to stay committed to our practice.

In part two, we'll also learn how to navigate difficult times and gain a deeper understanding of the conscious, subconscious, and unconscious mind, to help us stay grounded on our meditation path.

Part 3.

Neuroscience & the stress response, how it relates to a meditation practice.

​Discover how neuroscience supports meditation and discuss interesting facts about our intelligent  bodies like what actually happens to our brain and our body when we meditate?

​

We'll also take a closer look at the stress response to see how it impacts our daily life and how it relates to meditation. See how a daily practice can play a powerful role in shifting how we manage and respond to stress.

​

With a few practices now under our belt,  we have begun to lay the foundations for what can become a transformative life-long practice.

The Awareness Insight is a 3 part foundational course that can be taken in a group setting or privately.

Three-day Group Course 

February 2026 dates TBC soon.

6 hours total / groups are of 6 max.

Private Course

Learn in a one-on-one setting at a time frame that works best for you. Private learning sessions can also be tailored to include some personalised coaching.
